Traction drive machine room less lifts have the entire lift systems located within the lift shaft. The smooth and quiet driving unit (Situated within the head of the shaft) work most efficiently with the

counter-weight system greatly reducing power consumption.

These systems are also simple to maintain, without the need of oils that need replacing after several years. Therefore, the combination of low cost maintenance and minimal energy consumption equate to excellent long term low running cost.

Our MRL traction lift range has capacities of 4 Persons up to 26p Persons and are available with mini choices of options including adjacently sited open-through doors.

The Hiten elevator is offering a relatively new Machine Roomless Elevators (MRL) solution incorporating the highest technologicalperformance in the lift industry.

SILENCE- pro is machine room less lift with permanent magnet gearless synchronous motor. It works without any type of vibration or noise , ensuring an ultimately silent, comfortable and smooth performance. Our lift control is based on microcontroller technology which is an advanced version of micro processor provided with energy efficient drive system. The incorporation of latest software technology has reduced the size of our controller with minimum hardware. As an option Hiten also offer Eco saver, a new state of art regenerative drive system which makes perfect environmental and economic sense. Eco Saver does not consume power, it also actively generates it and uses it with efficiency. Our eco server system recovers energy and feeds it back into the building power supply.

Geared traction machines are driven by AC electric motors. Geared machines use worm gears to control mechanical movement of elevator cars by "rolling" steel hoist ropes over a drive sheave which is attached to a gearbox driven by a high speed motor. These machines are generally the best option for basement or overhead traction use for speeds up to 500 ft/min 3.0 m/s). Gearless Traction Machines

• A brake is mounted between the motor and drive sheave (or gearbox) to hold the elevator stationary at a floor.
• This brake is usually an external drum type and is actuated by spring force and held open electrically; a power failure will cause the brake to engage and prevent the elevator from falling.
